Clemente Malvino (1883 - the current owner's grandfather) has been a pioneers of the entrepreneurial development in the Cuneo province. In the early 1900s, after working his way up as a trainee in a mechanical firm, he started his own machine shop: "Malvino Clemente - Officina Meccanica" specialized in mechanical constructions and farming machines, that won him many patents and rewards.



In the late 20s, early 30s, Giuseppe and Dino (who later was president of the "Associazione Artigiani" of the Cuneo province for more than 25 years) joined in their father's firm, contributing to create a state-of-the-art company, specialized in fertilizer plants, conveyer belts, hammers for press-forging, special tools, and more.



In the early 70s, Clemente joined his father Giuseppe, and during the 80s Malcom Italiana was born, bringing new inputs into the company's experience in the field of plastic materials. The company has distinguished itself since its early days, thanks to its high technological level, and specialized in producing and marketing machines for operations with thermoplastic materials, pvc, pc, pp, etc, and, especially, the methacrylate (pmma - Plexiglas) to the point of becoming one of the first international firms to ever offer the innovative "Relux" for methacrylate polishing, designed to solve the most complex stage of the methacrylate processing (i.e. the sheets edges polishing); the company has later widened its product lines with a range of heating machines to bend thermoplastic sheets, pmma, pvc, pc, etc, until reaching its peak with "Piegaplast Automatic", the best machine available in the market of thermoplastic sheets folding.



The new millennium has witnessed the merger of "Malvino Clemente" and "Malcolm Italiana" into a single company: "MALCOMPLAST ENGINEERING" led by the current owner, Clemente Malvino.
