FRESACRYL MC 80

The "Fresacryl" milling polishing machine consist of a bearing plane fixed to a strong framework housing all electro-pneumatic feed and rotation devices.

The "Fresacryl" is a polishing machine equipped with a three-diamond edge cutter, suitable for mirror polishing mill sawn or fractionalised edges of thermo-plastic sheets.

The piece to be processed can be placed on the machine in packs or singly, with thicknesses from 3 to 60 mm.

There is practically no limit as far as the length of the sheet are concerned but, in the case of exceptionally large pieces it is advisable to fit suitable supports to the machine.

Piece advancement takes place means of two vertical rotary belts which grip the pieces and convey them at a speed varying from 0.50 to 2 mt/min. The speed should be regulated in accordance with the type of material to be processed.

For example : the ideal speed for obtaining the best polishing results for methacrylate sheets Is 0.70-1 mt/min.

The 3 diamond edge cutter works horizontally at a rotating speed of 12.000 R.P.M. The "Fresacryl" is an extremely silent machine (max. noise 80 dB ) the cutter regulated for an average removal of about 0.5mm., requires regrinding every 4000.00 mt. approx.

This operation should obviously be carried out at our workshop.

Chip removal is obtained through a conveyor /pipe fitted under the cutter head block which can be connected, by means of a 70 mm. diameter pipe, to an exhaust fan and filter (1500cu.mt./h).
