Heating machine for bending thermoplastic sheet
|
This versatile and easy-to-use modular machine is particularly suitable for the multiple, localized, bilateral heating of the sheets, with the possibility of making up to 4 bends in one single operation. By simply detaching the upper heating units and positioning them in battery with the lower ones, the heating zone can be doubled (up to 8 bends). Heating takes place by radiancy without contact, with fully tested, low voltage wire resistances (0-48 V). The Multipiegaplex machine consists of a structure fitted with two aluminium metric guides, housing 2-3-4 double mobile heating sets (upper and lower heating units)and a piece positioning reference square. The heating unit, which permits to obtaing a localized heating zone from 5 to 40 mm is composed of two sheet supporting sections with adjustable opening, cooled by water circulation, which house the wire resistance. Starting and heat adjustment (0-600°) are independent for each set of units (on request for each unit). Position the sheet to be bent and, after setting the heating time on the electronic timer, just work the pedal to start up the operating cycle (upper heating unit descent, pneumatic piece locking with automatic release at end of cycle). We wish to point out that once the piece has been heated it is essential to remove it from the machine and position it on a template to obtain the bending angle required. On request the machine can be supplied complete with electric water cooler

Heting machine for bending thermoplastic sheet

This series of machines, created for heating thermoplastic sheets, is particularly suitable for bending extremely thick sheets, up to 15-20 mm. Heating takes place by radiancy without contact, in an even, localized way, by means of quartz-clad tubular resistors. The Piegacryl-Multipiegacryl is made of a strong bearing structure, housing two metric guides on which the heating set (lower and upper heating units) and the reference square for piece positioning are placed. Each heating unit consists of one resistance with two sheet supporting sections at the sides, cooled by water circulation (handwheel adjustment of the opening symmetrically 0 to 60 mm handwheel) in order to create a localized, even heating zone on the piece. Starting and heat adjustment (0-800°) are independent for each unit. The upper unit can be detached and placed parallel with the lower unit. Position the sheets to be bent, set the heating time on a timer, start up the cycle by pressing a push-button or pedal (descent of upper heating unit and piece locking with automatic release at end of cycle), take the piece out and let it cool on template, to obtain the bending angle required. On request the machine can be supplied complete with electric water cooler

For thermoplastic sheets bending |
It's the smallest machine in the wide range of our
heating machines. Malcomplast Engineering has designed it for the bending
operations of thermoplastic sheets PMMA PVC, PS, PP, PC, of small size
and thickness up to 5-6 mm if the heating and irradiation (with no contact)
have one single source, and up to 15-20 mm if the sheet gets turned upside
down more times. The tubular quartz-shielded resistance is located between
the two piece support sections, cooled with water, whose symmetrical opening
can be adjusted from 6 to 60 mm, in order to outline a linear heating surface
where the piece can be evenly heated.
